Nottingham Nomads Scrabble Club

Nottingham Nomads is a competitive Scrabble club that has met most weeks since June 1999. Our membership has changed over the years, but at least one member has been playing here from the beginning.

We’ve recorded results since 2002, building an archive of nearly 10,000 games. This site brings together scores and some of the words played over those years for members and visitors to browse. It also helps us run the club today: organising club nights, generating pairings and recording each week’s games.

The club has a strong playing membership, including ABSP Experts and Grandmasters, and WESPA Masters and International Masters. Membership was historically by invitation only; these days, we welcome visitors with tournament experience. Our club nights are geared towards experienced, competitive players. If you’re interested in joining us for a game, contact info@nottinghamnomads.org.

We also host tournaments in Mapperley, Nottingham several times a year, open to players beyond the club. Visit the ABSP website for upcoming dates and entry details.
